There is an overwhelming number of talented graduates from the S outh Dakota Sc hool of Mines & Technology, and we wanted to ensure ample opportunities to retain that talent in the Rapid City community. We are proud to be a South Dakota company, and we wanted to maintain our physical presence in South Dakota while also helping to support forward-thinking engineering in the state. We felt our skillsets could complement the growing Rapid City community that could use a business to tap the need for high-end software development and data talent. Omnitech has been looking to Rapid City as an expansion location for several years and with the momentum of Elevate Rapid City, the awarding of the B21 bomber to Elsworth, and Omnitech's year over year growth, details finally fell into place to make this plan a reality.
